Regular (Non-Feminised) Cannabis Seeds

Regular cannabis seeds are produced the way nature intended - with no intervention to bias the sex of the resulting plants, so a regular pack will typically produce a roughly even mix of male and female seedlings. For most people growing purely for flower, feminised seeds remove that variable entirely; regular seeds exist for the growers and breeders who specifically need that variability, or who prefer to work with unmodified genetics from seed to harvest.

Breeders rely on regular seeds to create new crosses and stabilise lines, since access to male plants is essential for pollination work. Some experienced growers also prefer regular seeds for phenotype hunting - growing out multiple plants from the same pack to find individual expressions of a strain worth preserving as "keeper" mothers or fathers for future breeding.

If you're growing regular seeds purely for flower rather than breeding, you'll need to identify and remove male plants before they pollinate your females, typically once early pre-flowers appear - otherwise your females will be pollinated and will put energy into seed production rather than flower development.
